OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENTS
Giving Back to the Community We Call Family
Changing Lives, One Car at a Time
CARS CHANGING LIVES works directly with local non-profits to give donated vehicles to someone in need. Case managers, non-profits or church representatives in our service area with a client in need of a vehicle can apply.
OUR MISSION: To provide a person in need with a free, safe & reliable vehicle which will greatly improve their life.
HOW WE WORK: Eligible candidates must be actively working with a case manager or church representative of an area non-profit, community organization or church. These representatives assist the candidate with their transportation needs.
By the Numbers
Our Goal has been to give one car a month (12 per year). We are proud to announce that we have successfully achieved and exceeded that goal for the past 2 years. Our new goal for this coming year is 16! We need your help to achieve this. The more cars we receive, the more we can give to someone in need.

How You Can Help
We can’t do this alone. If you’re able to contribute money to help us grow, or a car you no longer need, we need you on our team!
If you have a vehicle that you are planning to part ways with, we will take it! We accept vehicles in all conditions, running or not. What matters is that your vehicle will help change a life.

Celebrating the Winner of the 2019 Auto Care Clinic Car Giveaway
Auto Care Clinic, a family-owned and independent automotive repair shop serving the Front Royal community, is proud to announce the winner of our 2nd Annual Car Giveaway Event. Congratulations to Tiffany Chopin of Winchester, Virginia, who was selected as this year’s deserving recipient and is now the proud owner of a 2005 Toyota Sienna Van.
Tiffany was chosen from 41 heartfelt nomination letters submitted by community members. Each nomination shared the story of an individual in need of reliable transportation for important daily responsibilities such as work, school, or medical appointments. Nominees lived within 20 miles of our service area and demonstrated that while they could afford to maintain and operate a vehicle, purchasing one was beyond their current financial means. After carefully reviewing each submission, our Review Committee selected three finalists for interviews before choosing Tiffany as the giveaway recipient.
As part of our commitment to supporting our community, Auto Care Clinic will provide free oil changes for Tiffany’s vehicle for one year to help keep it running reliably. While we wish we could provide a vehicle to all 41 deserving nominees, we were honored to have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for one local family this year. During the previous year’s giveaway event, we were fortunate enough to provide four vehicles to community members in need.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who submitted nominations, offered prayers, and supported this important community initiative. We would also like to recognize and thank our Review Committee members for their time and dedication, including Ms. Janet Michael of The Valley Today, Mr. Greg Demski of Edward Jones, and Ms. Mary Marshall, a retired teacher and local minister.
At Auto Care Clinic, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve such a wonderful community. We look forward to continuing to support our neighbors and plan to host another Car Giveaway Event in the future.

Brakes For Breasts
Thanks to our wonderful customers, Auto Care Clinic raised $1,381.81 for the 2019 Brakes for Breasts campaign, bringing our four-year total to $5,746.12. We are grateful for your generosity and support.
During October, the Auto Care Clinic team is proud to participate in the Brakes for Breasts fundraising campaign. Stop by for a free brake check. If brake service is needed, we will provide free brake pads and donate 10% of the repair, excluding sales tax and shop supplies, to Dr. Vincent Tuohy’s Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund at the Cleveland Clinic. 100% of the money raised goes directly to Dr. Tuohy’s research.
A special thank-you goes to our parts vendor, Advance Auto Parts, for supplying the free brake pads for this year’s campaign. Please help us spread the word and share this campaign with your friends.
